You taught me, How to be proud,

You walked with me, Through my worst fears.
You always wiped away, All my tears.
You've shown me, Time after time.
No matter how bad things can be.
They are not always, What they may seem.
And when I'm alone and weak,
Unable to speak.
All I need to do,
Is look in the mirror and see you,
Staring back at me.
Remembering how,
